West Ham United coach David Moyes confirmed the return of Moroccan defender, Nayef Akrad, to the squad, after joining the group training, noting that the player will be in the "best condition" before the start of the World Cup "Qatar 2022".
Akrd had published pictures of him from West Ham's training session, yesterday, Monday, and commented: "I am happy to be back on the field."
"The return of Akard is very good news because we have bought his contract as a key player for us," the Scottish coach said in a press conference ahead of the match against Liverpool in the Premier League.
And he added: "He has started training, and so far he has not yet fully integrated with the group, but he is very close to returning to play."
Then he continued, emphasizing: "Akrd will reappear before the World Cup."
